As Managing Director, Daniel Suchy brings to the Office for Online and Technology Enhanced Education a deep understanding of the technology issues surrounding hybrid and online instruction, as well as a passion for using technology to enhance the UCSD learning experience. He holds both a Master of Library Science and a Master of Information Science from Indiana University.
Daniel joined UC San Diego in 2005 as Electronic Information Services Librarian at the UCSD Library. In 2010 he was promoted to User Services Technology Analyst, acting as project manager and representing the needs of students and faculty in library instructional technology projects.
Since 2012, Dan has served as Assistant Director of Academic Computing & Media Services (ACMS), responsible for providing management oversight and strategic vision for ACMS instructional technology efforts.
