The Academic Integrity Office and the Teaching + Learning Commons collaborate with CAMSEE faculty to offer a “Creating an Inclusive Classroom” workshop to UC San Diego educators twice a year. The Academic Integrity Office also works with our Engaged Teaching Hub on the quarterly New TA/IA Orientation.

Analytical Writing Program

The Analytical Writing Program and the Academic Achievement Hub work closely with faculty to provide directed academic support to students in the Triton Freshman Scholars Program. This collaboration is vital for improving the analytical reading and writing skills that are essential for problem-solving across all disciplines.

The Center for Advancing Multidisciplinary Scholarship for Excellence in Education (CAMSEE) is a research, learning and teaching community focused on undergraduate education. The Teaching + Learning Commons collaborates with CAMSEE faculty, the Academic Integrity Office and the Community Center Directors to offer a “Creating an Inclusive Classroom” workshop to UC San Diego educators twice a year.

Many departments across campus, including the Teaching + Learning Commons, collaborated to earn the Ashoka Changemaker Campus designation for UC San Diego. The Commons’ faculty director serves on the UC San Diego Changemaker Steering Committee and Commons staff are involved in many initiatives, including overseeing an annual Changemaker Week celebration.

The Engaged Teaching Hub and the Digital Learning Hub collaborate closely with ETS to support faculty in the design and redesign of onsite, online, and hybrid learner-centered courses at UC San Diego.


PATHS Scholars Program

The Academic Achievement Hub supports the PATHways students throughout their four years at UC San Diego, beginning with the summer before their freshman year when they join the Triton Freshman Scholars program for Supplemental Instruction (SI), content tutoring, learning strategies workshops, and community-building activities.
