Kris Arellano

Administrative Assistant, Triton Achievement Partners

Kris graduated from UCSD with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Education. He has served as an Event Assistant at the Qualcomm Institute, gaining experience in planning, assisting, as well as executing academic, social, and professional events and conferences. Additionally, he has devoted himself to the field of education, as shown through his experiences as an Apprentice Teacher at Clairemont High School in San Diego, a Team Advisor for the National Student Leadership Conference in Washington D.C., and as an Administrative Specialist for the Black Resource Center and Intertribal Resource Center at UC San Diego. Kris is passionate about student success and development inside and outside of the classroom. Kris volunteers his time as the Vice President of the Alumni Volunteer Corporation for his fraternity and as the Balanced Man Steward, where he mentors current undergraduate officers and ensures the fraternity’s growth and development. Outside of the Teaching + Learning Commons, Kris enjoys spending time playing board and card games, watching action-packed movies, and enjoying the outdoors!
