Senior Council
The Senior Council is a joint senate-administrative committee and draws on the wisdom, knowledge, and resources of faculty, staff, students, and key senior leaders. It supports and advises the Teaching + Learning Commons (the Commons) in its charge to advance teaching and learning excellence. The Council promotes integration, connection, and ongoing assessment of the work of the Commons, which advances the UC San Diego Chancellor's vision to become a student-centered university. As ambassadors and advocates for the Commons, Council members link the Commons to campus departments, programs, and units that are integral to students’ success, and advocate for scholarship and innovation in teaching and learning.
