Dr. I-Pang Fu is the Digital Learning Manager at the Teaching + Learning Commons. His primary role is to manage instructional design projects/initiatives and support the Digital Learning Hub with an innovation mindset. Dr. Fu has worked as a designer, researcher, consultant, educator, and facilitator in higher education and corporate worlds over the past 15 years.

With more than ten years of experience in instructional design and online learning, Dr. Fu has led over 150 learning design projects and served over 15,000 adult learners worldwide. Before his appointment at UCSD, Dr. Fu was the Director of Learning Design at Penn State Law, Senior Instructor Designer at WIDA, Learning Innovation Program Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Instructional Designer/Technologist at Smeal College of Business at Penn State. He also teaches online courses for Penn State World Campus since 2021.

I-Pang received a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development with a minor in Educational Psychology at the Pennsylvania State University, an M.Ed. in Human Resource Education at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an M.B.A. in Human Resource Management at National Changhua University of Education, and a B.A. in Sport Management at National Taiwan Sport University.
