Ysabel Jaimes is a proud first-generation Latina who received her Master of Arts in Teaching from SDSU with an emphasis in Mathematics Education. She has a passion for serving communities as she previously dedicated four impactful years to classroom teaching. As a former bilingual classroom educator, she developed a profound understanding of the importance of personalized support in order to enhance students' educational experiences. Ysabel brings a strong commitment to promoting inclusive and equitable education that aligns with the mission of the Teaching and Learning Commons. In her free time, she enjoys discovering books to read, taking scenic walks, and sipping warm coffee.
