Edith "Meredith" Mendez

A first-generation college student, Meredith completed her BA in Human Development at CSU San Marcos and her MA in Higher Education Leadership at the University of San Diego. At CSU San Marcos, Meredith worked at the newly established Office of Internships, supporting students, faculty, and community partners in establishing internship opportunities for students. She furthered her work at the USD Military and Veterans program, supporting community-building and professional development for veterans and military-connected students. Meredith enjoys advocating for experiential learning opportunities and working with students, especially first-generation and underrepresented students. In her free time, Meredith enjoys walking her dogs, exploring San Diego (especially North County), and reading webcomics.
